Algebra 2 Prep is a continuation of the algebraic processes begun in Algebra I that advances the students algebraic skills in math concepts. Students will study real numbers, operations, and patterns as they extend their understanding of algebraic concepts. It develops advanced algebra skills such as systems of equations, advanced polynomials, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratics, and concepts and includes the study of trigonometric functions. Topics include polynomial arithmetic, complex numbers, factorizations, solving equations and inequalities, and sequences.
Courses will be held three times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 1:30-3:00 PM, from July 7 - August 8.
